Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the personal data of users who browse faser.biz and interact with the services available on it is processed, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Italian data protection law.

Data controller

The data controller is Faser Srl, with registered office at Via Maestri del Lavoro D'Italia, 8, 17019 Varazze (SV), Liguria, Italy, VAT no. 01252330095.

Types of data collected

The website collects the following categories of personal data:

  • Data provided voluntarily by the user. By filling in the contact form, the user provides their name, phone number, email address and the information contained in the message. This data is used exclusively to respond to requests.
  • Browsing data. The IT systems and software procedures used to operate the website acquire, during normal operation, some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (for example IP addresses, browser type, operating system, access times). This data is used for statistical purposes in aggregate form and to ensure the security of the website.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. For information on the cookies used please refer to the Cookie Policy.

Purposes and legal basis of processing

  • To respond to requests sent through the contact form and manage relations with the user. Legal basis: performance of pre contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject and the legitimate interest of the controller.
  • To ensure the security of the website and prevent abuse and automated submissions, including through Google's reCAPTCHA service. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller.
  • To comply with legal obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.

Third party services

For the correct functioning of some sections of the website we use services provided by third parties that may process personal data:

  • Google reCAPTCHA. The contact form is protected by Google Ireland Limited's reCAPTCHA service, which verifies that the submission comes from a person and not from an automated system. The service may collect hardware and software information (for example device and application data) and transmit it to Google for analysis. Use is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  • Google Maps. The Contact page may include a map provided by Google. Displaying the map involves sending Google data relating to browsing. Google's Privacy Policy applies.

How data is processed

Data is processed using electronic and IT tools, with logic strictly related to the stated purposes and adopting security measures appropriate to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access.

Retention period

Data provided through the contact form is kept for the time necessary to handle the request and, subsequently, for the period required by any legal obligations. Browsing data is kept for a limited period, except for any investigation of computer crimes.

Data communication

Data may be processed by parties carrying out ancillary activities (for example the hosting provider and the providers of the technical services indicated above), appointed as data processors where required. Data is not disseminated.

Transfer of data outside the European Union

Some of the third party services used may involve the transfer of data to third countries. In such cases the transfer takes place in compliance with the guarantees provided by the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Rights of the data subject

The data subject may at any time exercise the rights provided by Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, including:

  • access to their personal data;
  • rectification of inaccurate data and completion of incomplete data;
  • erasure of data (right to be forgotten);
  • restriction of processing;
  • objection to processing;
  • data portability.

Requests can be sent to info@faser.biz. The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Changes to this policy

The controller reserves the right to update this policy to adapt it to regulatory or organisational changes. Any changes will be published on this page.
